Purpose of the Code<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"454\" data-end=\"668\">The purpose of this document is to provide a transparent framework for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and automated systems by Elite2You. Status of content produced by AI<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1608\" data-end=\"2089\">\n<li data-start=\"1608\" data-end=\"1746\">\n<p data-start=\"1610\" data-end=\"1746\">Content produced by an AI (e.g. a text or image-creating device) is not considered a human work of authorship under most legal systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1747\" data-end=\"1847\">\n<p data-start=\"1749\" data-end=\"1847\">Elite2You always uses human verification before publishing or making decisions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1848\" data-end=\"2089\">\n<p data-start=\"1850\" data-end=\"1977\">Content or assessments that are 100% AI-generated for learners, models and users should be clearly marked, e.g:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1980\" data-end=\"2089\">\n<p data-start=\"1982\" data-end=\"2089\">&#8220;This answer was generated using artificial intelligence.&#8221;<br data-start=\"2043\" data-end=\"2046\">&#8220;This is an automatically generated exam.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2091\" data-end=\"2094\">\n<h3 data-start=\"2096\" data-end=\"2139\"><strong data-start=\"2100\" data-end=\"2139\">4. Ethical principles when using AI<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2141\" data-end=\"2218\"><strong>AI and automated decision-making are applied along the following principles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2220\" data-end=\"2624\">\n<li data-start=\"2220\" data-end=\"2308\">\n<p data-start=\"2222\" data-end=\"2308\"><strong data-start=\"2222\" data-end=\"2239\">Transparency:<\/strong> the user should always be informed about the use of AI if it has been 100% helpful to the instructor, staff, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2309\" data-end=\"2385\">\n<p data-start=\"2311\" data-end=\"2385\"><strong data-start=\"2311\" data-end=\"2333\">Human oversight:<\/strong> all AI-supported decisions are approved by a human.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2386\" data-end=\"2525\">\n<p data-start=\"2388\" data-end=\"2525\"><strong data-start=\"2388\" data-end=\"2416\">Non-discrimination:<\/strong> it is forbidden to use any algorithm that discriminates in any way (e.g. on the basis of gender, age, origin).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2526\" data-end=\"2624\">\n<p data-start=\"2528\" data-end=\"2624\"><strong data-start=\"2528\" data-end=\"2546\">Data security:<\/strong> all AI devices must only process personal data in a GDPR-compliant manner.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2626\" data-end=\"2629\">\n<h3 data-start=\"2631\" data-end=\"2697\"><strong data-start=\"2635\" data-end=\"2697\">5. Prohibited uses of AI in Elite2You systems<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2699\" data-end=\"2747\"><strong>The following uses are strictly prohibited:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2749\" data-end=\"3079\">\n<li data-start=\"2749\" data-end=\"2829\">\n<p data-start=\"2751\" data-end=\"2829\">Artificially altering the profile of a model or student without consent<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2830\" data-end=\"2885\">\n<p data-start=\"2832\" data-end=\"2885\">Use or distribution of deepfake technology<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2886\" data-end=\"2964\">\n<p data-start=\"2888\" data-end=\"2964\">Automatically generated fake reviews, comments or test results<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2965\" data-end=\"3008\">\n<p data-start=\"2967\" data-end=\"3008\">Misleading advice from a chatbot<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3009\" data-end=\"3079\">\n<p data-start=\"3011\" data-end=\"3079\">Use of third party AI tools without Elite2You&#8217;s permission<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"3081\" data-end=\"3084\">\n<h3 data-start=\"3086\" data-end=\"3147\"><strong data-start=\"3090\" data-end=\"3147\">6. AI tools used by users and learners<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"3149\" data-end=\"3519\">\n<li data-start=\"3149\" data-end=\"3298\">\n<p data-start=\"3151\" data-end=\"3298\">Learners should only use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Notion AI) that do not violate the credibility of the teaching and are not plagiarised.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3299\" data-end=\"3397\">\n<p data-start=\"3301\" data-end=\"3397\">During an exam, assignment or essay, the use of an AI device is only allowed with prior permission.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3398\" data-end=\"3519\">\n<p data-start=\"3400\" data-end=\"3464\">It must be indicated on all AI-supported submissions:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"3467\" data-end=\"3519\">\n<p data-start=\"3469\" data-end=\"3519\">&#8220;The answer was also helped by an AI tool.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"3521\" data-end=\"3524\">\n<h3 data-start=\"3526\" data-end=\"3575\"><strong data-start=\"3530\" data-end=\"3575\">7. Legal consequences for non-compliance<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3577\" data-end=\"3671\"><strong>In the event of a breach of the AI usage rules, Elite2You may take the following actions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3673\" data-end=\"3877\">\n<li data-start=\"3673\" data-end=\"3708\">\n<p data-start=\"3675\" data-end=\"3708\">Warning or suspension<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3709\" data-end=\"3743\">\n<p data-start=\"3711\" data-end=\"3743\">Cancelling an exam result<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3744\" data-end=\"3788\">\n<p data-start=\"3746\" data-end=\"3788\">Termination of contract or cooperation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3789\" data-end=\"3877\">\n<p data-start=\"3791\" data-end=\"3877\">In the event of a breach of the law: legal action (in particular for data protection or ethical breaches)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"3879\" data-end=\"3882\">\n<h3 data-start=\"3884\" data-end=\"3913\"><strong data-start=\"3888\" data-end=\"3913\">8.
