Purpose of the Code<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"450\" data-end=\"760\">The purpose of this document is to set out a common set of values and standards of behaviour for all individuals who hold a leadership or management role within the Elite2You system &#8211; including regional directors, academic directors, operational managers, education coordinators and brand managers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"841\">Leadership is not only an operational responsibility, but also a responsibility to lead by example.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"843\" data-end=\"846\">\n<h3 data-start=\"848\" data-end=\"878\"><strong data-start=\"852\" data-end=\"878\">2. General principles<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"880\" data-end=\"924\"><strong>All Elite2You managers and directors must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"1317\">\n<li data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"1011\">\n<p data-start=\"928\" data-end=\"1011\">Represent the brand&#8217;s mission, values and ethical standards in all circumstances<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1012\" data-end=\"1070\">\n<p data-start=\"1014\" data-end=\"1070\">Communicate authentically, transparently and respectfully<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1071\" data-end=\"1169\">\n<p data-start=\"1073\" data-end=\"1169\">Refrain from any behaviour that jeopardises the brand&#8217;s reputation or internal integrity<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1170\" data-end=\"1234\">\n<p data-start=\"1172\" data-end=\"1234\">Do not use your management status to promote your own interests<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1235\" data-end=\"1317\">\n<p data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1317\">To act with the utmost professional diligence, according to his\/her abilities and responsibilities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1322\">\n<h3 data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1364\"><strong data-start=\"1328\" data-end=\"1364\">3. Expectations of managerial behaviour<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1437\"><strong>The following behaviours are expected of all managers and directors:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1439\" data-end=\"1951\">\n<li data-start=\"1439\" data-end=\"1522\">\n<p data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1522\"><strong data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1456\">Integrity:<\/strong> adhering to the principles of fairness, transparency and honesty.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1523\" data-end=\"1632\">\n<p data-start=\"1525\" data-end=\"1632\"><strong data-start=\"1525\" data-end=\"1542\">Leading by example:<\/strong> consistent, inspiring and motivating behaviour towards subordinates, learners and models.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1633\" data-end=\"1737\">\n<p data-start=\"1635\" data-end=\"1737\"><strong data-start=\"1635\" data-end=\"1651\">Confidentiality:<\/strong> protecting and keeping confidential internal data, models, students or business information.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1738\" data-end=\"1847\">\n<p data-start=\"1740\" data-end=\"1847\"><strong data-start=\"1740\" data-end=\"1757\">Independence:<\/strong> objective decision making, avoiding conflicts of interest (e.g. favouring own business).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1848\" data-end=\"1951\">\n<p data-start=\"1850\" data-end=\"1951\"><strong data-start=\"1850\" data-end=\"1872\">Social responsibility:<\/strong> promoting community sensitivity and a non-discriminatory and harassment-free environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1953\" data-end=\"1956\">\n<h3 data-start=\"1958\" data-end=\"2009\"><strong data-start=\"1962\" data-end=\"2009\">4. Prohibited behaviours and abuses<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2011\" data-end=\"2054\"><strong>The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2056\" data-end=\"2492\">\n<li data-start=\"2056\" data-end=\"2152\">\n<p data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2152\">Putting your own financial, personal or political interests before the interests of the brand<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2153\" data-end=\"2251\">\n<p data-start=\"2155\" data-end=\"2251\">Immoral, pressurising or manipulative communication with models or students<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2252\" data-end=\"2342\">\n<p data-start=\"2254\" data-end=\"2342\">Exceeding the scope of authority (e.g. entering into a contract or making a statement on behalf of the company without authorisation)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2343\" data-end=\"2411\">\n<p data-start=\"2345\" data-end=\"2411\">Leak internal information, use for own purposes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2412\" data-end=\"2492\">\n<p data-start=\"2414\" data-end=\"2492\">Attempting to lease, transfer or resell your own or another&#8217;s position<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2494\" data-end=\"2497\">\n<h3 data-start=\"2499\" data-end=\"2543\"><strong data-start=\"2503\" data-end=\"2543\">5. Community and public behaviour<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2545\" data-end=\"2618\"><strong>Managers also have a responsibility to represent the quality of the brand to the public:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2620\" data-end=\"2915\">\n<li data-start=\"2620\" data-end=\"2691\">\n<p data-start=\"2622\" data-end=\"2691\">No negative content, posts or statements about the brand<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2692\" data-end=\"2807\">\n<p data-start=\"2694\" data-end=\"2807\">A brand-appropriate appearance and behaviour is mandatory in all appearances (events, interviews, online content)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2808\" data-end=\"2915\">\n<p data-start=\"2810\" data-end=\"2915\">Any media, PR or interview situation must be agreed in advance with the Central Communications Manager<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2917\" data-end=\"2920\">\n<h3 data-start=\"2922\" data-end=\"2971\"><strong data-start=\"2926\" data-end=\"2971\">6. Decision-making and responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"2973\" data-end=\"3348\">\n<li data-start=\"2973\" data-end=\"3151\">\n<p data-start=\"2975\" data-end=\"3151\">Leaders&#8217; decisions can have an impact on the careers of models, learners and staff &#8211; so all decisions should be made objectively, in a documented and traceable way<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3152\" data-end=\"3258\">\n<p data-start=\"3154\" data-end=\"3258\">Only the authorised manager is entitled to represent the company, on the instructions of the governing body<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3259\" data-end=\"3348\">\n<p data-start=\"3261\" data-end=\"3348\">Managers are responsible for the transparent, legal and ethical operation of their area of responsibility<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"3350\" data-end=\"3353\">\n<h3 data-start=\"3355\" data-end=\"3393\"><strong data-start=\"3359\" data-end=\"3393\">7.
