For many, modelling is a profession. For me, it was a life-changing journey – a story that took me from the streets of small-town America to the spotlight. I was born and live in America, but my path has not always been clear.
As a child, I was always eccentric – I was drawn to books and art, while I held the camera rather than stand in front of it. I never dreamed of a career in modelling until a chance meeting changed my life.
One day a photographer noticed me in a cafĂ©. After a short conversation, he invited me for a test shoot. At first it was strange to stand in front of the camera – but as soon as the first flash came on, something special happened. I realised that this was the place where I could really be myself.
From then on, everything changed. Runways, exclusive photo shoots, fashion magazines… everything happened so fast that sometimes even I couldn’t believe that fate had taken such a turn. Then I realised that I wasn’t just a face in front of the camera – I was a story, a feeling, a message.
